The Kaopectate Multi-Symptom Relief Coated Caplets provide quick and effective relief from stomach discomfort. These anti-diarrhea-coated caplets work on seven types of stomach ailments. The multi-symptom relief formula can help rid heartburn and indigestion, relieve diarrhea and traveler's diarrhea after consuming foreign foods, and calm a queasy stomach after indulging in a heavy meal. It can also help put an end to gas.

To use, take two Kaopectate Multi-Symptom Relief Caplets when symptoms occur, and repeat this dose every 30 to 60 minutes as needed. Swallow the caplets with water; do not chew them. Repeat dosing every 1/2 hour to 1 hour as needed, but do not exceed 8 doses in 24 hours. Use until diarrhea stops, but not more than 2 days. Drink plenty of clear fluids to help prevent dehydration caused by diarrhea.

If the printed inner seal on the bottle is broken or missing, do not use the product. For adults and children 12 years of age and older, the recommended dosage is 2 caplets. For children under 12 years, consult a doctor before use.

Warnings: Reye's syndrome warning: Children and teenagers who have or are recovering from chicken pox or flu-like symptoms should not use this product. When using this product, if changes in behavior with nausea and vomiting occur, consult a doctor because these symptoms could be an early sign of Reye's syndrome, a rare but serious illness.

Allergy alert: This product contains salicylate. Do not take if you are allergic to salicylates (including aspirin) or take other salicylate products.

Do not use this product if you have an ulcer, a bleeding problem, or bloody or black stool. Ask a doctor before use if you have a fever or mucus in the stool.
