Kaopectate Multi-Symptom Relief Coated Caplets 28 ea (Pack of 4) offer quick and effective relief from a variety of stomach ailments. The anti-diarrhea-coated caplets work on seven types of stomach discomfort, including heartburn, indigestion, diarrhea, traveler's diarrhea, and gas. To use, swallow two Kaopectate Multi-Symptom Relief Caplets when symptoms occur, and repeat the dose every 30 to 60 minutes as needed, up to a maximum of 8 doses in 24 hours. Directions: Swallow the caplets with water, and do not chew them. Use until diarrhea stops, but not for more than 2 days. Drink plenty of clear fluids to help prevent dehydration caused by diarrhea. If the printed inner seal on the bottle is broken or missing, do not use the product.

Adults and children 12 years of age and older can take 2 caplets. For children under 12, consult a doctor before use. Warnings: Do not use this product if you have an ulcer, a bleeding problem, or bloody or black stool. Ask a doctor before use if you have a fever or mucus in the stool. Reye's syndrome warning: Children and teenagers who have or are recovering from chicken pox or flu-like symptoms should not use this product, as it could be an early sign of Reye's syndrome, a rare but serious illness. Allergy alert: This product contains salicylate, so do not take it if you are allergic to salicylates (including aspirin) or other salicylate products.
